About Me

Here’s what you need to know. . .

My name is Kalen Robinson and I’m a Georgia peach born and raised in east Atlanta, GA, which means I lean and also rock with it, I say “y’all” in my regular vernacular, and you could never make me hate Waffle House. I’m an actress, singer, and dancer with a deep love for storytelling.

I’ve been immersed in performing arts schools since the 3rd grade. I later graduated from Howard University (HU, you know!) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and I’ve been fortunate enough to live my dream and bring stories to life ever since.

Professionally, I have worked at many regional theaters such as Studio Theatre, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Signature Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Fulton Theatre, Imagination Stage and more! Most recently, she played Seasil in the premiere production of “Finn” the musical at The Kennedy Center TYA.

All credit goes to God for the gifts He’s given me. I don’t take them for granted, and I do my best to keep Him at the center of everything I do.I also have an amazing village of family, friends, and mentors who hype me up, keep me grounded, and encourage me continue to grow as a person and an artist.

When I’m not performing, I’m probably binge-watching Scandal for the fourth (okay, fifth) time, rummaging through Ross: Dress for Less, getting lost in a good book, or hanging out with my friends (whom I absolutely adore.)

My mission? At the heart of it all, I want to keep creating, keep growing, and inspire other young Black women to take up space, tell their stories, and shine unapologetically. If my journey can light the way for someone else, then I’m doing something right.
